Yo, quick question, would this be better with a solid state (JDS Labs O2) or tube (Bottlehead Crack OTL) amp?- Julianese

Bose QC2 sound better than HD598?
Hello, you. I've bought a pair of refurbished Sennheiser HD 598 headphones and they're pretty good, but when I compared them to my dad's Bose QC2... The HD 598 didn't sound, but felt tinny, if you know what I mean. I think the clarity of it is... not that great. Vocals don't sound as real...- Julianese

Best Albums of All Genres?
Hello, fellow music listeners! I'm something of a noob when it comes to music (other than electronic), so I would like to get some albums of all genres. And you're going to help me. I already have several electronic albums (Alive 2007, Electric Daisy Carnival Vol. 1, Loose Dirt, The Nth, and... -
Been looking for days comparing, final 4 ish lol, Help :)
The HD 598 and the Q701 has very little bass, and probably won't be suitable for the genres you've specified. The DT990 is, as I hear, interesting, it has reeeally pronounced highs and lows. You may like it or hate it. The HFI-780 seems like the safest bet.- Julianese

(Completely Opposite) Complementary Cans for HD 598?
I really do mean complete opposite. Firstly, they need to be really cheap, around $50. The genres that the HD 598s are good at are things like alternative, classical, jazz, I want these to be good with metal. Heavy metal. And dubstep. The HD 598s are used for relaxing, mellowing down on a...- Julianese

AD 900 vs. DT 880 vs. AKG 550...which would you put on your head (and mine)?
32 Ohm DT 880 isn't really worth it, but think about the 250 Ohm version with a good entry amp if you're also thinking about the Q701. They are for monitoring however, so it may seem like you are only analyzing the music. AD900 is easy to drive, but is not really awesomely good in sound. They...- Julianese

Comfort?! (AD700 or HD598 or K701)
Hello, this is a very confusing topic for me. I have had the AD700 before which felt like pillows on the side of my head, although it did touch my ears which was a bit annoying, but others say that they could not get it to fit and made their ears hot and itch some. I have tried the HD 598 at...- Julianese

DT880+Crack or Q701+M-Stage?
Right now I have the AD700, which feels awesome and sound okay, other than its muffle-y sound and lack of detail. I'm looking to buy a better pair soon with a rough budget of $500 and have narrowed it down to these two setups. The DT880 Premium 250 Ohm being $250, the Crack $280, the Q701 $240...- Julianese

Hello, I'll just cut to the chase. Give me a suggestion for some good sounding, neutral, accurate, all around, open headphones for under $200 dollars. With good price to performance ratio, as well.
