I understand these will work with post-thunderbolt ipads. but not other idevices, using the camera connector. certainly my ibasso dac/amp works by this route and sounds great!

I appreciate this is probably a stupid question, but do most people use the DAC on this, when listening via ipad/android (if they can get it to work!)...  Am interested in whether most use just the amp with their mobile + save the DAC for when used with laptops etc..   Appreciate, probably...
