Is there a general opinion for the best all around tube for the lyr+he500 combo? I'm looking for deep bass, lush mids, detailed highs, and a wide soundstage. The soundstage doesn't have to be too wide, I'd sacrifice that for the rest of the properties.

Quick question, is the HE-400 canare cable silver or copper? I'm sure there are reviews out there, but what is the general opinion on how it (he-400 cable) pairs with the HE-500?

Hey, my cable for my HE-500s just broke. Does anyone have any feedback on the sound of the 500s with the 400 cable? Not looking to spend much on a cable at all, I feel sick thinking of spending $100 on a replacement. 

Both pairs are $old.

Don't know if anyone's said this, but perhaps the new feature is interchangeable shields that turn the headphone from closed to open?

Maybe possible bluetooth integration?

Do you find that the Asgard drives it to it's full potential? Also, if you've heard the Lyr, what are the differences/trade offs? I'm still debating getting the asgard, lyr, or nfb-12.

Care to elaborate? I see you have a nfb-12, have you heard a lyr and prefer it over your nfb-12?

Does anyone know if these come with velour pads as well? Might want to include them in my order if they don't come bundled.

Do you think you could give a quick comparison on these vs. HD600's in terms of midrange?
