Tinnitus has been ruining music for me these last few weeks. When a high noise floor is something that just lives in your head, it sucks. I'm envious of people who can hear subtle differences.

What I'm really enjoying the most from the X5ii are my LP rips. These are mostly jazz albums from the mid-50's, and a bunch of ECM albums from the 70's and 80's. I kept most of these in pristine condition, so the pops and clicks are pretty minimal.

Asheesh, I'd sell the Chord Mojo and just use the headphone out from the X5ii - it's sweet and it has plenty of power.

X5ii output power is 245mA into 32 ohms (http://m.fiio.net/en/products/41/parameters). I assume this is with Gain = High. The E12 (Mont Blanc) puts out 880mW into 32 ohms. Since I'm listening to my X5ii with the volume at around 90 and with high gain, I'm near the top end of the output range. I...

  Definitely no need for an external amp with 32 ohm headphones. The x5ii drives my HE-400s really well by itself, using high gain.

Why is the song's title red on the "Now Playing" screen? It's very hard to read. And it makes me think there's something wrong with my file (that's usually what red indicates).
