My vote would be for the Sennheiser IE8, bigger in my opinion than the Triple Fi and UM2 which are the only other IEMs I own that begin to compete on this measure.

dfkt, It comes with a lead that connects to a standard USB socket on a computer or plugs into the supplied USB socketed charger. The charger is 100 - 250 V input but is two pin US style so you will need an adapter.

Correction - I tried the Bithead with the HD650 this morning. SQ was okay and it did drive them to medium volumes quite well. I think I may have had a dead cell in the Bithead when I tried it before.

I don't have the Total Airhead but I do have the Total Bithead and assuming the output is similar it will struggle to drive the HD650 to what I consider low to medium volume. It is okay with IEMs, I've used it with my UM2, Triple Fi, and ER-4Ps and get pretty good results, and higher efficiency...
