Sonus faber PRYMA - An Italian-Made Beauty
All of the press I've read seem to like them a lot. Listeners can be like flavors of ice cream; and each one has their favorites. These new models look very nice. The originals are keepers....- Jpbas1

Break-in is key as well. I go between HPs all of the time. If they haven't been played in awhile they sound a bit congested or dull. After several tracks they open up nicely.- Jpbas1

[Review] Encore mDSD (dac/amp) - a new pocket rocket to make you hum
i recently fell back in love with 2-channel audio. i am sure my comments won't mean very much. i was turned on to this product after having bought a NuPrime IDA-8 integrated amplifier. amazing. all of things that this one box design was able to do made me pursue the Encore mDSD. i only...- Jpbas1

Sonus faber PRYMA - An Italian-Made Beauty
I should delete my prior postings... The audio experience is about evolution and progression. At 20+ hours... They're opening up beautifully. Tonality as described previously is simply correct and very musical.- Jpbas1

Sonus faber PRYMA - An Italian-Made Beauty
After 10 hours... They're breaking in nicely. Congestion has given way to warmth and a gentle high frequency section that avoids fatigue. Superb packaging; build quality; and very nice warm/tubeness to the sonics. Falling under the World of McIntosh (WOM) moniker... Expect nice sonics at an expense.- Jpbas1

Sonus faber PRYMA - An Italian-Made Beauty
Ok. I am not a headphone guy- but I do love audio and listen heavily. These are some pretty stunning headphones. Totally Sonus Faber. Well-built and extremely well made. No attention to detail was spared. Unfortunately, they're very dark and lack dynamics. My last several headphones...- Jpbas1

Sonus faber PRYMA - An Italian-Made Beauty
Mine are on their way.... They look beautiful. They only need to sound half as good. My reference over the ears never leave the home.... So traveling with something uniquely different from a reputable speaker company is both novelty but respectable. I've owned several Sonus Faber monitors and...- Jpbas1

Does anyone have experience with the Kef LS50?
The NAD 3020D is an amazing integrated amp as well for $349.00 new from certain retailers. It offers a built in DAC and BT capability. 50 to 100 wpc. I laughed because I usually don't like Class D amps- but it drove a pair of my 4 ohm speakers perfectly. That's a tough drive... I've...- Jpbas1
