I guess I'll just shelve this project for now....  Which stinks cuz I just sold my last Stax amp, but it seems like the right thing to do in this situation.   Hopefully I can come back to it in a month or so.  I ll have to contact the seller about the transformer.  Thanks guys

T51/sflo2 is the way to go.  I had  a D2 that I loved, but the SFLO2 is just a better all around player.  Its line out is excellent, and its headphone jack will amp most any can out there decently, and stacks up well against the low end ibasso's and such.  Pairs well with my grado sr225's and...

This player sounds really good.  Really really good. I use it to drive my HD 580's and my ATH AD2000's without an amp and they sound better than everything but my full blown Stax 404 setup....
