V-MODA Unveils M-200 ANC, Its First Bluetooth Active Noise Cancelling Headphone

@AndrewY Can you add a little more info on the ear cup/pad size? Are they larger than M-200, but smaller than M-100 with the XL pads or are they comparable to the XL padded M-100? Do you guys plan to make XL or other types of pads for the M-200ANC?

V-MODA Unveils M-200 ANC, Its First Bluetooth Active Noise Cancelling Headphone

Val previously said that he didn't like anc/bluetooth because the tech wasn't there. Way back, he had built headphones with both, but because he wouldn't use them he wouldn't sell them. I didn't see that Val left V-Moda....that is enough there to prevent me from pre-ordering these as my above...

V-MODA Unveils M-200 ANC, Its First Bluetooth Active Noise Cancelling Headphone

I can understand that - for me it was easy enough to EQ out at first, they still had the fantastic bass punch etc..., and were infinitely more wearable with my big ears (which may have also mitigated the issue). After a while I think I just got used to it and stopped worry about compensating...

V-MODA Unveils M-200 ANC, Its First Bluetooth Active Noise Cancelling Headphone

I was an original purchaser of the M-100 (VTF-100 at the time) and have really enjoyed them with the XL ear pads, although their age is starting to really show. I just sent back a pair of Sony XM4s because their small cups hurt my ears and they were a bit tight clamping pressure wise. Can't wait...

    Sony WH-1000XM4 discussion and reviews

Thanks - I am currently using a USB mic and wired IEMs or my M-100s and was looking to get a few things out of this: 1) ability to untether and walk around a little bit (sounds iffy at best with my computer) 2) improved comfort from my current IEMs for long days 3) replace my M-100s for gaming...

    Sony WH-1000XM4 discussion and reviews

Is anyone using these in a work from home setup? My trusty M-100s are getting pretty rough looking and starting to fall apart, so I am looking for some new headphones to replace them. I will use them for occasional travel when COVID restrictions ease, but I will probably be 25% music listening...

    Aurisonics ROCKETS: Impressions Thread

Has anyone had any luck taking their rockets apart to repair them? My left side is intermittent and I really really love these IEMs and don't want to toss them.

    Aurisonics ROCKETS: Impressions Thread

I was #17 on the backer list.  Dale made a post a while ago that they were doing mostly white cable standard color, because that's what they had the most parts of and didn't want to ruin their small stock of black cable and specialty coatings (makes sense since it's the only retail combo) so...

THEY DO EXIST!!!!!!!!!!!!   Just got my black and gold Mic Rockets.  SOOOO happy since my other sets had long been given to my family that ordered them along with me.

    Aurisonics ROCKETS: Impressions Thread

After finally getting to spend some time with rockets I agree they could use more bass, but I'm a basshead.  It's not that they can't handle it though.  I built a Viper4Android profile that upped the bass a fair amount and the rockets will really pump out some good clean bass without it muddling...

    Aurisonics ROCKETS: Impressions Thread

You guys and your impressions are killing me!  I ordered my rockets for a series of long trips this summer and am about to come up on my last one, sans good iems.  I guess being backer #18 wasn't quite quick enough since I had to go with non-standard colors.

    Aurisonics ROCKETS: Impressions Thread

Right now all we have to go on is the test videos of the Rockets and their warranty - I'll give you that.  It doesn't take long to find multiple reviews on the RHA's to find people with cable issues though (granted not a ton, but they are still there).  As much as I have loved my Sure e3c's...

    Aurisonics ROCKETS: Impressions Thread

I wouldn't confuse heft with build quality.  From what we've seen on Rockets they are likely to be the most durable IEM on the market at any price point.   Audio wise though, I look forward to a lot more folks getting these and seeing comparisons with more iems in the $250-$350+ range.  It...

Did you do black and gold?  I am still waiting and I was backer 17 or 18
