Hi, just wondering, has anyone paired the X5 with AKG K3003? The neutral but slightly warm sound signature of X5 may compliment the neutral but slightly cold sound signature of K3003? But that is just my speculation.

If you read the X5 Preview thread, you will see some previewers had already stated X5 sounds better than AK100. Some of them stated that it sounds better than AK120. One even stated that it even sounds better than AK240. Fiio is the winner when it comes to Price/Performance Ratio in the DAP...

No X5 is not bug-free. And according to all the reviews I have read so far, X5 got marked down because of tagging, UI, and library management issues. Therefore I think it is utterly unfair to say that the reviewers just glossed over the issues. I strongly believe James and his team will work...
