Splitting one source signal into two Headphone Amps?
Good question. i´ve been looking for a while for the complete answer (and suitable circuits) the only thing i found so far is a distribution amplifier like in the TL074 datasheet. anyone seen this? Isn´t it too complicate for that purpose? Shouldn´t a simple unity gain buffer with a 100k...- joensd

DIY Corda HA-1 finished
congratulations kai_yip it works well, that motivates me to try that "beast" of an amp. guess it´s some of the finest you can build- joensd

DIY Corda HA-1 finished
what´s going wrong here? i still can´t see the layout. just a lil bmp-file from tripod. still would like to see cause i wonder how you got the lm6171´s working without a "pro"-PCB board. thanks for hints- joensd

Short Question bout caps
hello! thought about that same question as well is it only the difference in tolerance of the caps that´s important for the sound? or more the physical structure of them? thanks- joensd

Looking for simple class a amp schem
yeah possum you´re right with that patience is of the essence actually i am; i just wrote that there are days... i´m more or less understanding all the circuits but not so far with my experience that i design/calculate them myself i just take schems that look cool and modify here and there...- joensd

Looking for simple class a amp schem
wow somebody replied i forgot to click the email notification yeah you´re right apheared some people have lack of patience (but myself sometimes as well) yeah i know about power requirements was just about to experiment around (never can stop really) maybe just check out one channel and...- joensd

Looking for simple class a amp schem
thanks JMT looks real interesting BUT: i tend to forget i´m cruising in headphone forums what i forgot to say was that i wanted something around 20w per channel to drive loudspeakers and maybe separate stage for headphones i got inspired by the designs for headphones that use an opamp...- joensd

Looking for simple class a amp schem
Hi there! I always wanted to build a class a amplifier but don´t want it too complicate. I thought about a good opamp followed by transistors, fets working in class a and am still looking for a schematic. Anyone seen and tried such a thing (maybe some links etc.)? A regulated power supply...- joensd

DIY-project with LM3886
yeah, you´re right it´s kinda lot parts flying around here and what my boss doesn´t know won´t make him hot.lol i always wanted to try those specific tv-transistors(bu508 etc) for a hifi and check out if they sound ok but i´m just too lazy and woffling about electronics studies as well so...- joensd

DIY-project with LM3886
hi! i mean i got +-27v so this is OK? it falls anyway and the peak protection should be okay (by the way, where can i find the ultraregulator you used, maybe i go for a bigger case and add that too) the amp sounds so good that i even thinking about using this for my hifi setup; any...- joensd

DIY-project with LM3886
Hi ppl! I was away for a few days and didn´t try. But what you write really confuses me. Somebody else told me to take a bigger Rfeedback to rise gain which sounds logical to me cause isn´t it calculated like a normal operational non-inverting amplifier: Vu=Rfeedback/Rtoground+1 ??? I...- joensd
