So I finally got the new firmware loaded in my X3, created a playlist in Foobar, saved in the root directory of my CD card and updated my media library. The playlist shows on the CD card but when I try to access it on the X3 it says "no playlist files found."   What am I doing wrong?

It was formatted with the X3. I don't think so, I've downloaded the firmware twice to make sure.

Yes, the "x" is lower case.

The file is specifically X3.fw and not in a folder.

I cannot seem to update the firmware on my X3 to the new version. I bought a dedicated Sandisk microCD card (8gb), formatted it with the X3, extracted the X3.fw file to the card, inserted it, pressed the menu and power button. I get the message "file not found".   Any suggestions?

Even new vinyl can sometimes exhibit a distracting amount of noise. I purchased the new 180g MoFi releases of Santana S/T and Abraxas and both had some pops and clicks. Once cleaned on my VPI 16.5, the majority of the distracting noise went away. In my opinion, owning a quality wet/dry cleaning...
