Cayin HA-300MK2 (2022) TOTL Transformer coupled Direct Heated Triode Tube HeadAmp (Page 91)
I just had a similar event with the amp almost going dead. It turns out that the sockets were loose and the service center tighten them up and it works flawlessly again. Seems to be the 300B and 6SN7 sockets. Other symptoms were one of the channels would go silent. Anyways, I hope this helps...- JinTam

Meze EMPYREAN - the First Isodynamic Hybrid Array Headphone
The original cable is little over 3 feet, not much use except for a portal player I guess. I guess it's not worth it to reuse the connectors other than for their Meze Audio print. It was just sitting around, I was thinking about rewiring it so I can actually use it.- JinTam

Does anyone know how to take apart the original cable with the 2.5mm and mini xlr connectors? I want to rewire them with a softer and longer material.- JinTam

Focal Utopia General Discussion
I carry mine in a leather pouch. Probably not ideal and gives very little protection. But I rather do that than continuously disconnect the cable in a hard case, which is probably more harmful than a fleece lined leather bag.- JinTam

How do you keep the cleaner from soaking in to the foam? Do you have before and after photo of the cleaning and conditioning? I thought about cleaning them but it looks like a real pain.- JinTam

Meze EMPYREAN - the First Isodynamic Hybrid Array Headphone
I been trying to get my speakers to have this kind of resolution, clarity, and focus. It's been a real pain, bought and sold many speakers over the years. With subs, you feel the pressure from the subs. With these, they are pumped in to your ears. After a couple of hours, I am ready to take them...- JinTam

Meze EMPYREAN - the First Isodynamic Hybrid Array Headphone
I have both and I think they are very similar. I find the Empyreans more comfortable because of the ability to twist the cups though they do fall off more easily. They sound more muffled and the bass is fatiguing after a while and a little exaggerated. I don't find any of the faults in the...- JinTam

The Empyreans are very good but they are no where near what they are praised to be. I will keep my pair until they break but I think all the top tier HPs are all very good.- JinTam

There's a reason why they cost more :stuck_out_tongue_winking_eye:. Nah, I got them both for the same price. So equal there.- JinTam

Meze EMPYREAN - the First Isodynamic Hybrid Array Headphone
Focal Utopia "Crazy detailed, but often sounds too forward, too bright and bass light. Often feels like a microscope, not necessarily the most pleasurable headphone." This keeps coming up. I think it's pretty stupid. How can detail and clarity not be enjoyable and require attention? It's what...- JinTam
