I was tempted to buy the La Figaro but went for the Crack instead. I now have two Cracks (one highly modified) and the Darkvoice. I keep the Darkvoice as a backup. Thanks for sharing your photos. Best, JS

While I do not recommend it to anyone else, I have used the 6F8G as a power tube in the place of a 6AS7 in my Crack without Speedball. For some reason in the other Crack I have with Speedball, it does not perform very well. As a power tube it really runs much cooler than for instance the 6080...

Have you every used the 6f8g as a power tube?

I still have many - about 50 - tubes. Many will work in the Crack. Most will work with an adapter. There are some that I would sell if you have interest. Best, JS
