    New Beyerdynamic T5p 2nd generation

So i have heard. Never actually had opportunity to compair these to v2, but you can get gen1. quite cheply and put these 15 dollar pads in them, and win the audio game, because i really dont believe, that they have done nothing to drivers on gen. 2, but tuned those just with softer pads.

    New Beyerdynamic T5p 2nd generation

Forgot to mention, that when i got my first gen T5p, few months ago, i find out that those original pads are just horrible. Just uncomphy and overall... meh. So i ordered cheap artificial leatherpads from china, and wow, these things came alive! So much more comfortable and finally there is...

Ollo audio: Pro headphones from Slovenia

Hello all. There is allready much sayed on these wonderfull cans in here, but here is my two cents: I have both, open and closed versions and in my DAW there is two independent headphone outs, so its quite easy to compare these both. First of all S4R are just magnificent closed back headphones...

    Grado Fan Club!

As i said: Results vary from model to model. I have tried all grado pads on various grado models, and then some. There is no "one pads rule them all". For example i have find that flats works nicely on many models if you like big bass, and tamed highs, chinese pads rules on 125-225. Originals...

iFi iPurifier 2 - Reviews, Impressions and Discussion Thread

Umm, if you call human hearing very sensitive instrument, you have no clue about mechanics and psychology behind human hearings. And what comes about understanding random graphics, if they are quite random indeed, one just cant understand them. If you have basic knowledge about the subject...

    post your grado mods....

I did post this to the other grado topic too, but i figured, that this belongs here too, or even better: There is so much speculation about Grado cushions out there, and especially, how do bulk aliexpress L-pads compaire to original Grado L-pads, that are made of two different material. So i...

There is so much speculation about Grado cushions out there, and especially, how do bulk aliexpress L-pads compaire to original Grado L-pads, that are made of two different material. So i did some measurements, with my heavily modded Grado SR325is, and the difference was huge. Actually it was so...

Hello Ruthieandjohn. I have been wondering few things on your impressive and comprehensive charts: What is the reference, that you are compairing all other headphones? And how does that prosent charting goes with that? Lets say that bass is tight, but lacks of sub-bass energy vs bass goes flat...

    The science behind multi-driver IEMs

In my understanding, they put more drivers for freq band to gain more output, without distortion. In pro live IEM:s, you sometimes want to go louder, than in "normal" use.

    Hifiman he-400i Impressions and Discussion

If you Eq down everything than bass, and rise overall volume, it is same as you just boost the bass, as long as you keep your gainstaging ok. And raising bass by 6dB and lowering everything else that same amount, boosts bass +12dB ;)
