OHIO Meeting?Columbus/Cincy/Cleveland
On listening briefly to Ether Flow open and Sony MDR-Z1R, I felt Ether flow to be thin and Sony to be too full (with a lot of body, little dark even). Do you think my impressions are correct? If so can anyone recommend a sweet spot in the middle? Thanks!- Jayzz

OHIO Meeting?Columbus/Cincy/Cleveland
There were quite a lot of gear, this is my first meet and haven't seen these many headphones in one place. I was conscious to try only sub 1k phones and my picks were Fostex TH610, TH900 and HD660S. I felt Ether flow was little thin and for some reason Aeons had an uneven weight balance on my...- Jayzz

Now I know why the Andromeda weren't there. I was looking forward to running them on a MOJO but both weren't there. It would have been great to A-B them with my 64 Audio U6. Till next time!- Jayzz

OHIO Meeting?Columbus/Cincy/Cleveland
Subbed. I'm interested as this place is only 30 mins drive from me and this would be my first meet. I have my office team event lined up potentially the same weekend and would like to commit after I know details about that. As far as gear I can bring ibasso DX80 and HD6XX. I would like to...- Jayzz

Recommendation needed: Light weight full size closed HPs
Head-Fiers out there, I'm looking for a recommendation based on your experience. I'm experiencing ringing in my ears (Tinnitus) and it flares up or gets worse when I use my IEMs. Regardless of Adel or not, regardless of lower volumes or not, it flares up. Even on On-ears it almost does the same...- Jayzz

Are you inferring slow charging is beneficial? I have my Galaxy S3 charger still lying around. Nothing can charge slower than that! :D- Jayzz

Comment by 'Jayzz' in item '64 Audio Apex Modules'
Thanks for the review. I have Tinnitus too and reviews like these have made me purchase Adel U6 with S1. As you mentioned while Adel doesn't help, it definitely doesn't flare it up. Two questions 1. Any difference in flaring or not so flaring when switching between Adel & Apex? 2. Can the old...- Jayzz

Hifiman he-400i Impressions and Discussion
If comfort is a major I can definitely vouch that these improve tremendously over time. I have owned them for 8 months now & nowadays I'm not at all noticing that they are in my head. My ears get warm after an hour so, but the weight & comfort are just so perfect for me. And this is coming from...- Jayzz

Hifiman he-400i Impressions and Discussion
I took that route and bought a pair of Alpha Dogs in hopes to upgrade to Alpha Primes. Unfortunately they were too heavy for me and I couldn't stand their weight. Every time I put them on, I got a strain in my neck that I had to put them back in the market immediately. I liked their sound...- Jayzz

Hifiman he-400i Impressions and Discussion
Have you had a chance to listen to HE400i using a Schiit Asgard 2? I currently have one and like everything about it, except the sound stage. While this greatly depends on the actual headphones themselves, I have read that sound stage is wider with a Gustard H10. Would like to hear your thoughts...- Jayzz
