Desktop Amp for Beyerdynamic DT 770 250 ohms w/ Audio Interface
I'm looking for an office setup. Plan to buy Beyerdynamic DT 770 250 ohms headphones. My issue is that my office pc's soundcard is busted. I ordered a simple external interface to go around it. I've been looking for a simple desktop amp solution to add to the cheap external...- jayxem

Wow thanks for all the input on this... looks like I definitely need to check out the Turbines and read up on them. From what people are describing how they sound it's more or less what I'm looking for. It's hard to find a solid pair of speaker/monitors, sub, or headphones that I've heard...- jayxem

As far as budget is concerned I don't want to go past the $200 mark. I looked up the IE6's real quick and found them on Amazon for $192 I believe. That isn't even bargain shopping for them.- jayxem

I'm looking to pick up a pair of IEMs that provide hard hitting bass but clean and tight response. I listen to mostly dubstep music. I just picked up a pair of Denon D2000s and IM portable AMP to start off with. I've totally loving the quality of the Denon's just wish it had a bit more punch...- jayxem

I think I've made up my mind... Going with the IM portable AMP. It's $100 and seems like great bargain for entry level gear. When get the extra cash I can justify getting a dedicated AMP and dedicated DAC.- jayxem

New Denon D2000's slight static
I recently just got my D2000's. They sound fantastic and met my expectations. I'm just a bit worried because I'm using my Onkyo receiver right now for listening and I hear slight crackle and popping as if were playing from vinyl. Is this normal for a new set of cans? The volume isn't way up...- jayxem

Looking to buy first headphone AMP
After doing some more reading up on things and checking out the full size headphone amp section I think I've decided to bring it down to the IM or the iBasso D3. My logic is that getting a portable AMP/DAC will introduce me to the sound of a headphone AMP paired up with hopefully excellent...- jayxem
