Review: ZERO 24 BIT/192KHz DAC/Headphone Amp/Pre-Amp
Greetings everyone, it sure was one heck of a job reading through this entire thread... yet it made the waiting for my very own Zero DAC/amp much more bearable. I ordered my Zero from Lawrence when I was still only somewhere around page 200 of this humongous thread and only read about his...- Ivion

Soundcard with a good digital out
I've also looked around a bit, and I think I've got a small list of which cards would be suitable (from reading their discription): RME Digi96/8 PAD M-Audio Delta Audiophile 2496 Hoontech Soundtrack Digital-XG These cards seem to've got reasonable (in case of the M-Audio) or good (RME &...- Ivion

Soundcard with a good digital out
I'm currently investigating a digital source upgrade, and I think I will settle for a Ack! dAck! and a yet to be decided soundcard. As the Ack! dAck! only accepts 44KHz/16-bit, the card doesn't have to oversample and the card should be able to output 44KHz/16-bit if I tell it to, and nothing...- Ivion

I don't care what people will say, I want my plant/speaker-thing to be a grapevine! Therefore giving Creedence Clearwater Revival's song I Heard It Through The Grapevine a new meaning!- Ivion

Sansui z-5000x?
I'm using a Sansui AU-666 as my current headphone amplifier. Although it isn't designed as one, it does a good job and thanks to the builtin phono stage I don't have to use an external one. And when I upgrade my amp I'll likely also upgrade my phono stage, so that'll be a bit expensive and...- Ivion

What kind of water do you drink?
I drink from the tap only. Water from the tap here in Holland is better than most bottled water, our tap-water is one of the best in the world (right next to some Scandinavian country I believe ). Bottled water is in general a weird concept, because most of the time the sources of that water are...- Ivion

Anime OST Recommendations
Many suggestions have already been given in this thread, but doesn't stop me to back them up! The Noir OST is very nice, I always found it kind of a mix between classical and techno (especially Salve Nos) and is a good score. Crest of the Stars (Seikai no Monshou) is a soundtrack which I... -
Thunderbirds are Go!
I absolutely love Thunderbirds, but this movie seems to me...unneeded. For crying out loud, it doesn't even have puppets! There are some things you just don't mess with, and Thunderbirds is one of them! Stop ruining my childhood heroes!- Ivion
