    That is quite unusual for a model that's being noted to have a decent bass punch line. Perhaps some burn i given that it does comprise of a dynamic driver for the bass. Wonder what actual difference between 30 and 35. As far as I tell it's the cables? Specifications same?

    They are still readily available in NZ. Just had mine replaced after 2 months when the logo faded.     IEM for ~$50

    The best $50 or so that I have spent was on the Sony XBA C10...shipping to NZ isnt exactly cheap but should be well suited to your situation. You will find many reviews out there but let me tell you it definitely outperforms what you might think are $50 IEMs!

    Shure SE215 or UE600: Please help me.

    Give the UE600 a shot! For $30 is cheap as chips!   That takes the two into totally different playing field in terms of the price. Generally speaking single BA do suffer from the lack of bass. The so-called bass port on the Shure SE315 still cannot match the bass on the SE215...But at 30 bucks...
