Is something wrong with Windows Sonic on the Xbox? In PUBG you can clearly hear the audio jump from left, to middle, and then right. Like, clear steps. Dolby headphones from my mixamp sounds much more natural.

I used to have a Xonar Essence ST, and it was great but there was a problem. I needed an amp with lower output impedance, but you can't use the ST's Dolby headphones unless you use it's internal amp. So I had to buy the Xonar DX, which has a lineout with Dolby Headphones. I do lose a little...

I was thinking about GR, but that... sounds annoying. Do you know if the community is complaining about it? The Beta seems to be pretty glitchy, I'll definitely be waiting to see some youtube clips of the final game first before I buy.

Eheh, I don't suppose they make a complete unit for around 10x that price? I know some people build their own systems, but I have no faith in my abilities as a loudspeaker technician.

My palm is 3 5/8ths inches, and I use a Corsair m45. It fit's perfectly, I like the no frills design and with it's program you can disable the main LED. Sadly it looks like it's out of production. The Corsair m65 looks similar, but they added a side button, still ~$50ish so that's good.

I wouldn't boost the lows, that should make the guns/explosions louder. Also, I think footsteps are lower freq than that, maybe 2.5khz/4khz? Have you tested it yet?

Where are BMRs used? I'd never heard of them before this. The Valve Index is 1k... it'd be nice if they could separate the VR from the headset, super interested to try it one day.

Would anyone give me a recommendation between these headphones?   The Audio-Technica AD700 is discontinued, but there are still some new on Amazon for $200, or the AD700x for $120.  Is the AD700 (non-x) worth the price increase?  Or, should I consider the AKG Q701 at $220?   I would prefer...

      TH900 is probably better in most ways, but the TH600 is at least more wallet friendly. :)  Might have to give them a try, although I'll definitely check out the TH600 owners thread.   Thanks for the advice.

I'm curious, are there any headphones that sound like the D7000, that are currently in production?  I thought the TH900 sounded quite different, more detailed and less warm, less bass too. :c
