For example my opinion is the opposite, I've been using the advanced rom and under my opinion, the sound is improved, battery life also and in general, the performance its at least, the same than stock but its just my opinion

Im pretty sure that with that thickest cable, the zeros and ones are running faster ;) haha, im joking, nice cable but its almost 5 times bigger than stock one

And here we go obsolescence... you buy a device as top tier and 2 years later it’s out of phase.. that’s life I know but it’s frustrating when you don’t earn a lot of money and you save it for some gear and later on it’s half priced but well, again, that’s life..

Any cable lightning to micro usb that works normally would do on this setup, that's the way im using them and yes, it works correctly (using the stock cable that comes with the Q5)

Because using the amp8 output would be amplified meanwhile using the usb/spdif its just the signal coming from the dac, not from the amp. If you want to use it to transfer the sound from the dap into an external amp, being double amplified would be worse, so ideally just pulling out the music...
