Ended up buying the second pair of KZ ZST, super armature + dynamic unit. Wow...It's only $10.80 USD on 11.11

I like precise soundstage. It shouldn't be too wide when artist record music in small room.  As for better detail, some people has old ears, they will have trouble with high frequency e.g. >= 16000hz. They need and IEM which is a bit too bright.  I prefer correctness of timbre. Some people may not.

There are so many factors. It's difficult to tell which one is better. Different ear will hear different sound. I can't tell whether E10 is better than Piston3, or Piston3 is better than E10.

Nope. It depends on one's taste.

I prefer black KZ-ATE S.  It really shines when you have high fidelity music source.  

I have both Piston 3 and Xiaomi Hybrid. I also have ton of KZ earphones. No need to think twice, just go for Xiaomi Hybrid, it's awesome!   If you're low on budget, go for KZ-ATE

You guys underestimate SIDY-DM3.  For some kind of music, none of KZ iem can beat it.  Sound resolution is even better than ED9 but if you have old ears you can't hear it.  For old ears, boost the treble using EQ.   Take this one as an example:
