Thanks to many of you, but expecially to Fred, I now got to have my R7-HE linked with the DI-20 with the Tubulus Concentus I2S and the DAC with the Tubulus Concentus clock cable to Mutec Ref 10. DI-20 remains clocked thru Gustard C1 cable, cheap but good enough, it seems. What can I say...I was...- Il Cuffiotto

Audio-GD DI-20
Got it, thanks. I cannot be sure, but I tend to think that clock cable can have identical influence on both gears, no hierarchy have logical sense...I experienced this changing cables of inferior quality like rg416 or rg402. Mixing them in various combination produced noticeable differences...- Il Cuffiotto

Audio-GD DI-20
Thanks Fred, interesting! Did you buy just one cable? If yes, did you connect the dac or the DI-20? And again...did you have experience with RG402 in the past? I think I'll buy a couple of those...Just need to see where, coz from China directly I would pay a lot of duties...- Il Cuffiotto

Audio-GD DI-20
I'm really interested in your findings about this cable, dear Fred. Actually I'm using a self made RG-402, blue skinned exactly like Gustard C2 between Mutec, R7HE and DI-20HE. It was very cheep building them, and results seems good. Very very noosy, lol....- Il Cuffiotto

Audio-GD DI-20
You have quite a bit of confusion, lol... Keep calm. So: With unit ON press the button for a couple of sec. Then turn off. I told usb cable, not Altera blaster. Two different path for different updates. Usb, direct from your DI-20 to the PC. The button doesn't have any light. It works simply as...- Il Cuffiotto

Audio-GD DI-20
First of all, if your DI-20 was bought recently, be sure that erasing button cable is inserted internally. Kingwa, to prevent unwanted erase, is selling now his products with cable just internally disconnected. Then, with your gear ON and disconnected from any cable, press the button and keep it...- Il Cuffiotto

Hi Fred! I'm a hard headed man, lol. Tricking xilinx 14.6 installation, all went ok and now I am happily playing music. Needed to erase a .dll file and rename another one. Crazy xilinx. But I won and regained my sofa. Thanks to all of you of course! I'll post a link to the youtube video that...- Il Cuffiotto

Hi dear DacLadder I finally received my xilinx blaster yesterday. I immediately started process of flashing using my win 10 laptop. All went ok until I tried to select the file, when program crashed. Drivers are OK, cable recognised. I don't know what to do...any suggestion to solve?- Il Cuffiotto

Nice to know. When I'll be able to flash new fws, both Xilinx and Altera, on my r7he I will make some test with di 20 fw too. I want to hear what happens to the sound, even considering my external Ref10 clock...😋- Il Cuffiotto

Funny Kingwa...never appeared on English repository! I have it on my DI20HE, but with old fw on R7HE 2020 clicks are still loud. Curious to see your results...- Il Cuffiotto

Bingo. My win 10 office laptop accepted easily xilinx 14.6. Thanks for your suggestions! Now time to wait for blaster, then I suspect I'll have to argue with Kingwa instructions...he's a genius, but his english is a bit limping, lol...any advice will be more than appreciated!- Il Cuffiotto

Thanks dear Fred! Unfortunately I'm still fighting just with the main xilinx 14.6: this is the beast I am unable to install on my PC! It freezes at around 75%. I tried to completely remove and start again, but until now no good news...If I can't sort it out, I'll try with my office laptop...- Il Cuffiotto
