So because of the untimely death of my Modi 2 right as my Triós arrived, I decided to splurge and grab myself a new Schiit stack. My goodness, the tia top end in combination with the Modi Multibit/Magni 3 is absolutely on another level. Cymbals have never sounded this good, ever. Still waiting...

Vocals are great, everything across the whole spectrum just sounds so effortless and natural from the bottom to the top. Female vocals sound absolutely sublime especially with the transition to the tia high driver. Never heard Adele live in person but Trió is what I'd imagine being in the studio...

Dang. I just upgraded my V6-Stages to A8s in November and now they pull out the hybrid custom N8t. And since my ears have been spoiled by Trió the upgrade-itis is very real again.

I suppose I spoke too soon, my Trios arrive on Monday (unless the FedEx delivery person is a jealous audiophile). Couldn’t be more excited, pictures and first impressions soon to come!

I know some U/A12ts are rolling out but has anyone's Trio shipped? I was sent an email saying they'd start sending them out on Jan. 15 but nothing yet.

Definitely looks like an issue with the 3D printing process. Materials tend to have poorer tensile and shear strength compared to your run-of-the-mill injection-molded parts, especially when the surfaces at the stem aren't smoothed as your photos show and cracks can propagate easily. Certainly...

So is the entire lineup from bottom to the top getting a Tia revamp for the new year? That's the only plausible reason I can think of for all the U-series being wiped off the site. Also, for any of you on the fence about the A-series upgrade program (which is ending soon) I would highly...

I believe they've done something new with the driver design so that the overall sound signature doesn't change significantly with different DAP output impedance (since the whole A12 debacle on here, they've clearly been listening to feedback!). Sounds kinda like what another European CIEM...

Perhaps check with your credit card company? I had issues placing my V6-S to A8 upgrade until I let Visa know what was going on.
