Thanks for the reply bro. I read on earlier post that newer firmware is kinda different rather than stock fw for sq wise. Can you give sq rate between those two fw? Ps: I'm planning to buy 2nd hand unit and it got newer firmware.

after almost a year having dx80, i finally found the right fw for my dx80. i think the sound much more improve than official stock. thanks a lot WindowsX.

well.. i think for gaming & movies, a little bit extra in bass will be makes things more exciting. You do need the extra effect  ambience from explosion, gun shooting, etc right? :) i own AD900x, and already tested A to B with AD700x. If you have more extra budget, i think u should go with...

I think ad700x has more soundstage than ad900x.. But i prefer the ad900x because it has more bass depth and more balance than ad700x. It has more better separation and soundstage just a lil bit narrowed (just a il bit). I tried them both and ad900x give me more smile when i tried listening my...

Same here.. I have no hiss problem with my current setup (ad900x & carbo basso iem). Hopefully next fw will fix all hiss problem on some people. About the lock button, i do hope this feature will up on the next fw update as paul already said in different thread. Cheers

Yes.. I've heard a lot of good things about 600's and schiit modi/magni 2. However the price is a lil bit silly in my country. U can go for two ad900x for one 600's. And for schiit combo the price is like double from their current official price (due tax etc). So far im really happy with...

Have you try to format your micro to format fat32? I pick up my dx80 from local store, and its already installed latest fw (1.1.4). So far i have no issues regarding search issue.

U should try dx80 player. Im not ibasso fan.. But its like now i can feel my ad900x is actually sing. From my point of view.. Even though ad900x is open can, but i think it needs a lil bit soundstage because ad900x has already have great detail.. And i think dx80 and ad900x is a magic pair.

1.yes you can. Im using my macbook and i can copy/remove/delate between those drive from my finder. I think windows will do just fine. 2.i think paul has mention in different thread that u need format ur microsd to fat32 and put it on slot 2 on ur dx80
