if you like the SE315s, maybe check to see what out of warranty replacement for the broken earbud would be; my other half stepped on one of my SE535s and it was $92 US to replace the bud instead of $700 CAD to get a new set?

I've received PM-3 Canada Unit 2; unfortunately the iPhone adapter cable doesn't appear to be working (in my computer, phone, and iPad, no less.)

I'm in for the Canada PM3 tour (and agree to the Terms & Conditions,) though I'll be out of town from the 11th-24th of November.

I mean, it might be worth attempting the filter mod on them, but aside from maybe more soundstage and a bit more presence on the top and bottom ends I'm pretty happy with the sound I'm getting.

good news! I found them! I don't need to either buy a new pair or find equivalents (and that's a $700 relief, since I'm in Canada.)

...and now I'm wondering if I should replace them with another pair, or try out something else:   I'm using them unamped out of an iPhone 5S, with the three-button mic cable, musically I'm all over the place; see http://www.last.fm/user/heeeraldo for an actual quantification of my listening...

I quoted straight from the email I sent them asking what I needed to do for a warranty exchange. just got an email from Kohn saying I didn't need the packaging, but I did need all the accessories, which is a relief.
