Improvement on Fiio E10
That's really helpful. Thanks. I find even small iems benefit from an amp coming out of the MacBook Pro. If nothing else, it cuts out the hiss you often get from on board audio and the headphone port. But they boost the sound nicely as well.- haroldlloyd

Improvement on Fiio E10
Ah, good. I went on the Fiio web site and got thoroughly confused by the numerous product names and numbers and abilities. I couldn't work out what was supposed to be better or more advanced than anything else.- haroldlloyd

Improvement on Fiio E10
[just posted this in the fiio forum but I think it might be better suited here as I'm not sure fiio offer a direct upgrade] So I have an E10 which tends to be used to boost / improve the sound coming out of a macbook pro. I have some decent IEMs and am about to invest in some V-Moda M100's. I...- haroldlloyd

Step up from an E10
So I have an E10 which tends to be used to boost the sound coming out of a macbook pro. I have some decent IEMs and am about to invest in some V-Moda M100's. I believe the E10 is the previous iteration of FiiO amps. So what's the best upgrade for it in my position? Pumping stuff out of an iPhone...- haroldlloyd

So a follow up having had these for six months or so. They remain fairly bright but with a decent bass. I mostly use them with a macbook pro and a Fiio E10. The tips make a big difference to comfort. As before, I would have felt annoyed had I paid £100 plus for them but at £60, they're decent...- haroldlloyd

Review by 'haroldlloyd' on item 'ClarityOne'
Bought these very slightly used - price paid is what I got them for, not what they retail for. I wasn't going to pay £120 for something I hadn't heard much from but paying half that was worth it. Early thoughts are that these are a step above from the SE115s I was using before which now...- haroldlloyd

Just got a pair of these and I'm pretty happy. Much brighter and deeper bass than the Shure SE115's I upgraded from which now sound a little dull compared to these. The treble is a bit bright at the moment but I'm yet to really give them enough of a test to make a thorough review. Thumbs up at...- haroldlloyd

[Impression] FiiO E10
So since buying a new pair of IEMs (the PureSound ClarityOne) as an upgrade from an old pair of Shure SE115, I've been hearing more static and hiss from the audio on my macbook pro than I used to. I think it was always there, just the new earphones bring it to the fore. Will the E10 be able to...- haroldlloyd
