SONY NW-ZX2
I've tried searching everywhere but i can't seem to find it. Does anyone know the voltage output for the Zx2 from the HP jack? I'm hoping it's within the 2.0-2.2V range, close to the line level output from DAPs with a dedicated LO, so i can feed the ZX2 to an external amp. And help or info is...- gyx11

Campfire Audio Vega (and Dorado and Lyra II) - Head-Fi TV
I do not claim to understand precisely how the DLC/ADLC technology works. Based on my scholastic research on semi-crystalline / amorphous synthetic polymers however, it's vital to consider that amorphous and crystalline structures can have markedly different physical and chemical properties...- gyx11

Campfire Audio Vega (and Dorado and Lyra II) - Head-Fi TV
This. I think that preference plays a huge part here. I just auditioned the Andromeda, Lyra II and Vega. I don't think that the Vega has any significant qualities that jump out at you upon first listen, apart from the heftiness of bass. With critical listening however, the Vegas begin to...- gyx11

Perfect Seal Custom in-ear monitors
I'd like to chime in to say that the AR6 have been my daily IEMs for nearly a year now, and they are simply awesome to the extent that I see zero point finding another reference pair of IEMs. I struggle to find fault with it - perhaps it is slightly too resolving? It decimates poor recordings...- gyx11

IBasso Audio IT03
A brief summary of my findings when comparing the IT03 and the Pinnacle P1: They are quite close in terms of SQ. The IT03 has a more dynamic overall sound, which makes it more impressionable, and a good choice for certain genres. Bass reaches deeper, and has better texture. The P1 is more...- gyx11

SONY NW-ZX2
From what I understand though, the WM port has digital output (adaptor), but also analog out (i.e fiio l50 to RCA termination). I was just wondering if it were possible to obtain a balanced analog signal to dual XLR, even if the balanced signal were theoretically not 'true' balanced.- gyx11

SONY NW-ZX2
Quick question here. Would using this cable here http://forzaaudioworks.com/en/product.php?id_product=51 and getting the Sony connector -> dual 3-pin XLR enable true line output from the ZX2 into a balanced amp like the Liquid Carbon?- gyx11

IBasso Audio IT03
Spent another hour with the IT03, this time auditioning alongside the Andromeda. The IT03 was fitted with the short silicone tips. The Andromeda is certainly more efficient than the IT03. Had to dial up/down the volume a couple of notches for suitable volume matching. Not sure how many hours...- gyx11

Thanks for your impressions once again. Mine are fairly similar to yours. Main difference is with regards to soundstage and imaging. I always take your reviews and findings seriously, and now I feel obliged to give the IT03 yet another go.- gyx11

IBasso Audio IT03
Yes, I must stress that this isn't a knock on the IT03 at all. It has plenty of great qualities that are hard to come by in any price bracket.- gyx11

IBasso Audio IT03
Nope that's not the issue. I've heard plenty of dynamic/hybrid IEMs as well. Certainly doesn't apply across the board- gyx11

IBasso Audio IT03
I've given the IT03 a thorough audition. Whilst they are undeniably good IEMs, in particular in the lower frequencies, I do not feel that they reach the standards of my personal reference benchmarks such as the CFA Andromedas, 64 Audio U12s. I also prefer the Perfect Seal AR6, Noble K10s and a...- gyx11
