    For sale - Beyerdynamic T5P ii $700

    Since I bought my at home audio system no need for headphones. I am including some LQI balanced cables - one is copper and the other silver plated copper. They were each $150. I will only sell to someone with a decent posting history, US only.

    DX200 blue tooth and amp question

    I have enjoyed using my iBasso DX200 with amp 2. Since I moved out of my apartment and into a home where I could actually use a high end audio system I find myself using headphones very little. I am thinking of switching my headphones from the Beyerdynamic T5p 2nd gen to the Beyerdynamic Lagoon...

    DX200=Affordable High End Audio. Dual ES9028Pro dacs. AMP1, AMP3, AMP5, AMP7 & AMP8 ***Firmware support now up for AMP9***

    Again thanks! That is how I thought it all worked. I normally buy the music I like and then load it into DX200, but using as DAC adds another dimension as I can stream and download rented music files on my laptop and now used my headphones with the balanced cables (I have amp3).

    DX200=Affordable High End Audio. Dual ES9028Pro dacs. AMP1, AMP3, AMP5, AMP7 & AMP8 ***Firmware support now up for AMP9***

    Just to be clear, I connect my headphone to the headphone out connection of the DX200, not the computer. In other words when used as a DAC the music on the computer is being played and the signal is going through the DX200 in order to use the higher quality chips and my headphone with balanced...

    DX200=Affordable High End Audio. Dual ES9028Pro dacs. AMP1, AMP3, AMP5, AMP7 & AMP8 ***Firmware support now up for AMP9***

    I hate to go off topic but I hope someone does not mind answering what I hope is a simple question. If I use my DX200 as a DAC in order to listen to music on my computer, and I am using amp3, how do I connect the DX200 to the computer? I have not downloaded the DAC program so I need to do that...

    DX200=Affordable High End Audio. Dual ES9028Pro dacs. AMP1, AMP3, AMP5, AMP7 & AMP8 ***Firmware support now up for AMP9***

    I just want to share my experience with DX200. I had been using DX80 with Beyerdynamic T5P 2. I thought this sounded great but decided to upgrade to DX200 and at the same time I purchased Sennheiser HD800 S. I bought the HD800 S because as good as the soundstage was with the T5P I thought the...

    My understanding from description is amp3 more musical which I interpret to be warmer, could be wrong. I also have HD800 S and was very curious to know your experience with DX200. The DX200 can drive the Sennheisers but I have not listened to enough high end stuff to know if I can expect more...

    beyerdynamic T5p Generation 2 Impressions thread

    I am finding some interesting comments as I am considering returning my HD800 S because as of now T5P 2nd gen sound as good if not better. But I would not have said that until I upgraded my DAP from iBasso DX80, which only has SE headphone output to iBasso DX200 which has balanced headphone...

    Sennheiser HD800 S Impressions Thread (read first post for summary)

    As I mentioned in my original post I use HD800 S on 112 volume setting out of 150 so I know they can be driven with DX200. That is about where I had the volume for T5P using SE output. When I purchased a balanced cable and used the balanced output for T5P I was able to use volume 92 but it was...

    DX200=Affordable High End Audio. Dual ES9028Pro dacs. AMP1, AMP3, AMP5, AMP7 & AMP8 ***Firmware support now up for AMP9***

    I am about to order amp3. I am becoming convinced I do not need any external amp for DX200/Sennheiser HD800 S combo. So with the money I am saving I can buy relatively inexpensive tweaks like amp3 and balanced cables for my Beyerdynamic T5P g2 as well as more music with HD Tracks. . So amp3...

    That is what I am going to do. I get influenced by some of the stuff I read but no substitute for actually listening. As I said in some of my other replies, when I get a chanch I will try and listen to some amps and if they blow me away will buy and if not I will save some money.

    Thank you. I kind of came to that conclusion. What I have sounds good and still breaking it in. When I have opportunities I will take my DX200/HD800 S to a audio store or someday I want to attend a meet. I am not going to invest in anything more unless I can spend some time trying out what I may...
