Hi, Thanks for the reply, even if it was late.  :)   I'm mostly going to be using my Macbook Pro as the source. As for why I don't want IEMs, well, I just seem to like over-ear and on-ear headphones. But maybe that's because I've had very limited experience with in-ears.
