Does anyone have experience with the Mad Dogs and the Schiit Lyr? I have the Lyr and an original pair of Mad Dogs (I bought the Mad Dogs from a guy here on Headfi). I really like the sound and plan to upgrade to 3.2 and Dog Pads, but am wondering if I could get the same quality out of my Mad...

Audition it is. I think there is 1 store in San Francisco where you can listen, but unfortunately they aren't hooked up to an amp...Thanks!

Hey guys, I'm trying to trade my AKG K701's for a pair of Grados. 225 or 325??! I hear the 325's can be a little bright and hurt the ears...Any thoughts here? Not that this SR225 forum will be biased or anything haaha. Thanks!

They look SO much better imo when the tubes are lifted up by the socket savers. They didnt seem to affect the sound either from what I can tell. Super happy with the buy. I highly suggest springing $50 for a pair :)

Absolutely. I want to let the new hd600's burn in for another 100 hours or so, too, and then give some more time to the Orange Globes, so I'll be back...

Hey Guys, I'm running a Schiit Lyr, Music Streamer II DAC, and HD600's. Any suggestions for the best tubes? I have the Orange Globes right now, but does anyone think they know a better tube for this specific setup? Something even warmer, more liquid sounding? Just looking for tips...I'm new...
