Changing circuits for the amp did actually help. I'm running the computer and amp on different circuits now too, so I guess they didn't really like to share. Thanks!- Goophy

No noise when connecting the headphones to minijack or TRS. Same noise when connecting balanced to balanced and balanced to unbalanced.- Goophy

When I connect the 0404-card to any amp with the double jacks or the minijack output I can hear a pretty loud buzzing noise with some pulses every 2-3 seconds. Adjusting the volume does not make any difference and the headphone-output has no noise at all. Tried several good cables and...- Goophy

Rogue Cronus integrated as headphone amp?
I tried it for a couple of hours with the HD650s last week. It's decent, but a lacks some detail especially in the highs, and I recall it sounded a bit too flat overall. Source was a Linn SACD-player. I would not use it as a dedicated headphone amp, even the Woo3 sounds better imho.- Goophy

WHEN and HOW do you use your different cans?
At home: Grado RS1 for rock, metal etc. Beyer DT990 for jazz and classical. One the move: Ety ER4S. I wish I could afford to have at least a couple extra good pairs of headphones, but maybe later.- Goophy
