Not exactly true. Max power certainly does matter. You seem to have forgotten to take into account the volume peaks of a recording, especially for recordings with a large dynamic range like classic music. To have a life-like and distortion free reproduction, simply having enough power to reach...

Not exactly. If you've actually read the technical papers for Dr. Olive's research, you'll know that Harman limits their research to below 10 kHz. The Harman Target is wildly smoothed above 10k and is something they explicitely stress in every single one of their papers. For the Harman Target...

Well for me what I want is a system wide parametric EQ. Honestly though, as long as they provide something better than the 10 bands graphic EQ, I'd be satisfied. Otherwise, it's a deal-breaker for me.

As someone who has the Blessing I'd urge you to reconsider. According to the official marketing materials, the 2 IEMs are tuned differently. The Blessing follows a slightly modified Harman Curve, with traits taken from the ER 4. Apparently the ER 4 was one Moondrop's (the founder of the...

I don't think Sony facing production issues in manufacturing the zirconium housings is a "conspiracy theory". In fact, an interview with DUNU I read a few months ago seems to support this view. Here are the relevant parts: Interviewer: So in terms of the delay in getting sufficient quantities...

That's actually factually incorrect. The Campfire Audio Andromeda is an incredible sounding IEM , but it is also notoriously sensitive to output impedance, even more so then other multi BA IEMs. That's due to Campfires crossover design. Look up it's impedance plot and you'll see. So Andromeda is...

Cool, sounds awesome. Just a few questions. What source are you using? Are they hard to drive/ source dependent? Also, how do they compare to the FH5? And how's the soundstage? I tried them a few months back and found the soundstage to be average and a bit disappointing for a 700$ iem. Thanks!

Accuracy values listed above are calculated after lead resistance compensation. I agree though, absolute values aren't that important when doing comparisons. Fair enough I guess :-)

I apologize if I'm missing something here, but afaik regular multimeters have trouble measuring very low resistances and are not accurate below 1 ohm. So when you're measuring the resistance of headphone cables, either the percentage error is very large or what you're reading is just the...

Hi there, got the blessings 3 days ago. The blessings sure need more attention in this thread. Just some quick observations-- basically the sound is exactly like how crinacle's review described it. The mids are the blessing's greatest strength-- i found them to be superbly detailed and...
