You've just gotta have a car pass by you outside for any difference to be negligible! Background noise would defeat any real audiable differences :)

This is true.   I think maybe 1/2 to 3/4 of the price you paid for your cans should be spent on an amp.

After hearing both at a store, I was more inclined to go with the 650s. Greater highs and transparancy.
