New Z Series IEMs from Samson (single/dual BA)

I've been really enjoying Samson's new Z series studio monitor headphones, and just saw they announced two new IEMs w/BA drivers at NAMM coming in March, in case anyone else is interested. I'll be awaiting these to try out the Zi100...

Was the B50 renamed to B100?

    New BA IEMs from Brainwavz?

I'm going by the following info provided by someone who appears to be a Brainwavz representative: Originally Posted by razzer001 View Post I loved our B2, they were great, but the new B200 dual armature earphones are just an entire class above, take the B2 with all its pros and without the...

MONOPRICE Modern Retro Over Ear Headphones (New)

I looked at the model you're referencing from Superlux. It does look like a rebranding, but I saw on Amazon there is an HD 662 set from Superlux that looks even closer to the Monoprice. I'm intrigued now. I may have to try some of these out from Superlux now.

MONOPRICE Modern Retro Over Ear Headphones (New)

Monoprice has a winner with these. My initial impressions still stand after some burn in. These have a comfortable, retro monitor style with a sound tuned for modern music. These are not tuned "flat" monitors forstudio production. The low bass hits hard without any bloated muddled overly warm...

New MONOPRICE Hi-Fi Over the Ear (12230)

Check out my initial impressions of their new $30 over ear retro monitors. These are even better than the 12330 in my opinion. They amp up the sub bass that the 12330 seriously lacked and the mids are slightly recessed for a really powerful and exciting V shaped profile, different from the...

MONOPRICE Modern Retro Over Ear Headphones (New)

These are apparently still so new from Monoprice that there is no reviews anywhere, not even on the Monoprice product page. They are only $29.99 so I took a chance, having purchased many other headphones and earphones from MP in the past. These are my initial impressions:           ...

Monoprice's 2 NEW PLANARMAGNETIC Headphones from their Monolith line!

These look really interesting. Of note is their HiFi Over the ear headphones going for $30. They are normally $70. At $30 they are a steal. Unfortunately they haven't really gotten much attention on Head Fi.

    New BA IEMs from Brainwavz?

Is this a secret? On the right it says single, dual, triple drivers, and "coming soon."

    Sony MDREX110.

I have used a ton of budget under $20-30 IEMs, but Sony has never stood out for me. I'll have to look at these. I use the $12 Panasonic HJE125 ergo fit and find them to be the best in the budget category. I'm always up for trying new budget IEMs though.

    IEM's similar to Monoprice 9927???

I have owned the 9927 as well. I really wish Monoprice would put the drivers in a different housing to improve isolation and long-term comfort. I want that SQ in a much better design that I'd be willing to pay more for. But the stuff Monoprice keeps putting out is crap for your average listener...

    IEM's similar to Monoprice 9927???

Have you tried the Soundmagic E50? I think the E50 are similar to the Monoprice but better in comfort. Like the Monoprice, the E50 will not be accused of sounding "warm," but still a very smooth listen. I think the E50 could even sound somewhat thin on certain genres. Definitely not for bassheads.

    SoundMAGIC P11S On-Ear: $20 Miracles

Purchased these on Amazon recently for $20 including one-day Prime shipping. I wasn't expecting these to be as good as they've turned out to be. These should be on any short list for budget audiophile quality on-ear portable headphones.      I'm going to keep this review short.    Build...

    Philips SHE8100 Review: Unsung Heroes

*Closest competition: Soundmagic E50, mentioned below*   I got these for $15 on Amazon along with the 9100. I think both of these were released late last year. The 8100, pictured here, is an astounding deal. I've used the even more budget-oriented and more popular 3590 as well as the newer...
