srry...the way to the graphs isn't exactly obvious...just click on the cans, then scroll down a bit and click on sound quality for  a FR graph Holy crap...I am beside myself after looking at the charts for the QC3...how anyone could perceive that as perfect sound completely baffles me

Okay, I tried out the srh 840 at guitar center, and found them very uncomfortable. I have very large, odd shaped ears that stick out and they started hurting after just a couple of minutes of wearing the headphones. They sounded great, but comfort is a very important factor IMO. I know the K271...

I've heard that the K271 mkii are essentially the same exact headphone just made for studio use. Is this true?

-Won't be using an amp -Must be circumaural & comfy (good for listening sessions of 5+ hours) -Must be closed -I enjoy controlled bass over big bass -I'll be using them for recording acoustic guitar/vocals so they need to be very neutral -My music preference is Classic Rock/Indie...

ive got a big wad o' cash in my pocket...its told me several times over to buy new headphones with it...i want akg's, which ones do you guys think i should buy? i would be using them for recording purposes and my genre is early classic rock.
