I bought my ER6i about a month or two ago, I'm assuming they're the newer foamies. They're great, really comfortable and great isolation. It makes wearing these earphones a lot more enjoyable than the flanges.

I bought a pair a few weeks ago, and I had a bit hard time adjusting at first. I kept on switching between the foamies & flanges. At first I found that the foamies gave the best isolation and comfort. But eventually they lost their waxiness and wouldn't keep their shape. I went back to flanges...

I was pretty much in the same position as you. I needed a pair of IEM for the bus, airplane, annoying ass roommates, etc. I was looking at the Er6i, UM1, EP630, Super 3 & 5, and Vibes. I eliminated the Super series because it didn't seem like the best bang for the buck. I looked at the Vibes...

What are the pros & cons of each. I personally bought a pair of ER6i which by the way are awesome, but I noticed a lot of the members here own both a pair of IEM's & headphones. Not that I have the money to go buy a pair of head phones, but I would like to know the pros/cons of each. Thanks!
