    ER6i tips question

I bought my ER6i about a month or two ago, I'm assuming they're the newer foamies. They're great, really comfortable and great isolation. It makes wearing these earphones a lot more enjoyable than the flanges.

    Most Depressing Album?

I've been pretty down lately, so I've been revisiting some old albums that just had a sad mood to it. My vote goes to Beck - Sea Change

    Too Many Genres!

There are so many genre's out there these days that I'm totally confused. Indie, Rock, Punk, Metal, Heavy metal, etc etc. Right now my music collection only has Rock, Pop, Rap, Soundtrack, and Raggae. I want to have a more specific genre, problem is I'm not even sure what all these genre's mean...

    IEM vs. Headphones

I'm not actually wanting to buy a pair. I'm just asking the differences between a pair of headphones and a pair of earphones. Does one provide better isolation, better sound, etc. I meant in general, no specifics.

    problem with ER6i noise cancellation

I bought a pair a few weeks ago, and I had a bit hard time adjusting at first. I kept on switching between the foamies & flanges. At first I found that the foamies gave the best isolation and comfort. But eventually they lost their waxiness and wouldn't keep their shape. I went back to flanges...

IEM for the bus (under $80)

I was pretty much in the same position as you. I needed a pair of IEM for the bus, airplane, annoying ass roommates, etc. I was looking at the Er6i, UM1, EP630, Super 3 & 5, and Vibes. I eliminated the Super series because it didn't seem like the best bang for the buck. I looked at the Vibes...

    IEM vs. Headphones

What are the pros & cons of each. I personally bought a pair of ER6i which by the way are awesome, but I noticed a lot of the members here own both a pair of IEM's & headphones. Not that I have the money to go buy a pair of head phones, but I would like to know the pros/cons of each. Thanks!

How Do You Train Your Ears?

I know this is kind of off topic, but I've been lurking around the forum, and I see a lot has to do with having a trained ear. I honestly don't really know what that means, or how to do it. I'm sure its something that comes along with playing instruments, but I have pretty much no musical...

    Stock Foamies W/ ER6i

I've had my ER6i for about two weekish now. And I love using the foamies. They isolate better and are a lot more comofortable than the flanges. Problem is that they're becoming, umm I guess marshmellowy? I don't know how to describe it. But when I first took them out of the box, they were kind...
