    Hello - Have you ever considered output impedance of your sources when testing with the Andromeda? Linum cables make a 1.5 ohm cable that has leveled the playing field for me with sources that have very low OI when used with any version of the Andromeda.

    To me, all Andromeda's can sound different with source output impedance differences. A source with a 1.5-2.0 ohm OI will sound different (less bass to my ears) then a source with 1 ohm or less OI.

    Congrats! I just made the same purchase on CFA's Market website. JVC Spiral Dot silicone tips have worked great for me. If you are an iPhone user, I found that the Maktar Spectra X2 Lightning DAC is an exceptional pairing, they are available on Amazon for about $170. Regards
