Best Grado Headphone..?
Aren't the highs cut off on the HF-2s to make them as warm as they are? Don't get me wrong if cutting the highs off is necessary do so but I just read somewhere that the freq. response cuts at 20khz. I've noticed a lot of companies doing so for their phones lately, cutting the high...- FreezingHazard

Sennheiser HD555 Review
thanks mythe. I actually sold them because i'm moving to something else. but I don't have a clue why my treble was so high I do believe an amp would have fixed it. I used them in halo 3 and most of the time I heard knife scratching was from a plasma nade. If any of you have...- FreezingHazard

thank you for not flaming i agree. headphones are incredibly personal. so far it doesn't make sense to make your decision off of what one other may like or think.- FreezingHazard

Sennheiser HD555 Review
Yeah the soundstage is another plus I forgot to add. The soundstage on these things are ridiculous and it has the best accuracy i've heard. But yeah I don't expect everyone to agree on my review and if you all did then the phrase audiophile would never exist. As for hookup I did a...- FreezingHazard

Best Grado Headphone..?
Quote: pcf I want to know what "candidates" I am missing? To be blunt, you make complete utter non-sense. I've listed the entire Grado line that is available to consumers via general market excluding 2 high end products to clean the votes up. So whats the deal?- FreezingHazard

Sennheiser HD555 Review
Let's dig right in. BASS 4.0/5.0 The bass is just in the "perfect" zone, to fit mostly anyone. It isn't too big not too low. I found the bass to be lacking just a tiny but some may disagree. It is very detailed bass and you won't find much mud in here. Great bass for general audio but...- FreezingHazard

Best Grado Headphone..?
Voting lists will always be unsuitable for the general public. Maybe I should have said, "Best "Available" Grado Headphone". And I'm sorry for not putting up the gs1000 or ps1000, its the idea that those are the obvious best so why list them?- FreezingHazard
