Pardon my naivete but how would you connect a phone or something to the Jotunheim R to play music from? From what I understand it's meant to be a stand alone box but from photos I've seen I don't see an audio in for a 3.5mm, I only see the headphone XLR port in the front?

Do you know of any model of DAP powerful enough to drive something like the Abyss ab 1266 phi tc with a portable amp? Or do you think it'd need a full desktop Amp?

Are DAPs important sound quality wise? Or are they just an avenue to stream music from? Do they add power/volume and affect sound signature the same way an amp/Dac would? Or can I get away with just a nice Amp/Dac and using my cellphone as a DAP?

I have a pair of IEMs where there is a small gap at the top of one from when they attached the faceplate to it. Does anyone have any suggestions on a clear laquer I could use to fill the plastic in? Or maybe some other material that would do the trick?
