I own both the iPod touch and the Classic V6 and the ZX300 as well. The comparison is like between night and day, ZX300 is so so so much better than the Classic which sound muffled and with little soundstage. I assume the NW-55 is already a better player than the iPod even without resorting to...

I would like to try this "new" firmware by MrWalkman but I can't seem to find the .dmg file for Mac users, only .exe files... ehr..dunno what to do.

Agreed,I have it as well and with my cans sounds pretty amazing..the first time I had to check out if I wasn’t connected to my DAP or my phone...

That is very strange indeed since I can do it without any sort of problems... wonder what the problem is... installing windows on a a Mac? Just for a firmware update...!? Nah... finding a friend with a pc is much faster and less problematic...

Agree, the 1AM2 are fantastic... I also happen to have the WHH900N and the 1AM2 are much better.. BT noise cancelling cans are great for commuting but when it comes to quality you can’t beat the good ol’ cable..

What do you mean? I have 10.14 Mojave (exactly between 10.13 High Sierra and 10.15 Catalina) on my Mac mini and I can update my firmware without problems...

I don't know about the Pono, never tried it but I've got a ZX300 and my sister has a A45 and i can tell you the ZX300 is better, more powerful, more soundstage... It's clearly the winner but the difference in budget are quite consistent... With that being said i think the A45 is without doubts a...

Completely agree on every word you said man.. Besides audio quality of the 300 is great, who knows if this is ANY better and even if it is.. I'm completely satisfied with my 300...

I completely agree... people always tend to look at newer things.. I bought specifically the ZX300 because I didn't want Wifi and streaming services.. the quality is VERY good...I don't think my hearing will find a night-and-day difference with this new ZX500...
