I've reviewed Proton on audiostereo.pl ( http://www.audiostereo.pl/Test_Wavelength_Audio_Proton_USB_DAC_64309.html ) - 4 Me was: - too polite and smooth (not so airy like my Stello DA 100 Signature) - too weak to drive corectly HD 580 Precision

In meantime I take for test NorthStar DAC 192 and maybe next DAC shopping will me move into far future. But I have to spend much more time on listening this Italian masterpiece.

When I'll receive (maybe next week) my mini matrix i'll take it to the lab and then on the listening test in my and my friends systems. Probably I'll compare Matrix with Stello DA 100 signature in rather expensive system (Acoustic Arts, ModWright, Sovereign) or

I hope that Matrix will be better (in my system) than Zhaolu (which is quite good DAC).
