Yep demo’d side by side. I had the 23R’s predecessor and the 23R is an improvement but not by much. To me the Silver Fox was quite a bit better, hugely powerful which was very apparent. Against the Envy it’s hard to say, the Envy is a completely different beast and if you like what it does then...

Ive heard the Silver Fox, had it for a few days, and it is truly amazing for the price, personally impossible to beat in solid state. However I run Envy, suppose that says it all. My opinion obviously.

I owned the Enleum’s predecessor the Bakoon 13R, it is not in the same league as the Envy. Ive compared Enleum 23R also and didn’t feel it offered much over the Bakoon. Ive not compared the Primavera. As always try and get a listen for yourself👍

Yes I use them. Have compared to Full Music, Western Electric and Elrog ER’s. For me Tak’s are far superior, though vastly more expensive. Only tried with stock CV-181’s though.

Can’t say I concern myself with it really, if you get the digital squealing just pull the usb and pop it back in. On the very rare occasion I restart the Aurender.

I owned the Bakoon also, predecessor to Enleum. Swapped it out for the CFA3. Not heard the Bliss referenced above.

I indeed have done this. As good as the CFA3 is it doesn’t compare to the Envy, and that’s before you fall in the tube rolling rabbit hole. Trust me you won’t be disappointed if you upgrade.

Yep my Brimar quads have a very faint hum also. Definitely liveable though

Buy a set of LED dimming stickers off Amazon, they are fantastically useful on all sorts of kit.

I don’t see how this helps anyone. You haven’t mentioned your chain or even which headphones you used. To just mention bass weight as a factor is like saying no stand mount speaker is worth listening too because they can’t go below 40hz. Where is the mention of musicality, of the tonal colours...
