Beyerdynamic T1 3rd Gen out now

Tough ask innit, I'd reckon it'll cost the same as a mid tier headphone just to get it fixed. I'm not sure if the issue is at the cables or near the headphone connection or the speakerphone itself.

Beyerdynamic T1 3rd Gen out now

I have an old T1 that I had balanced cables put on. After years of use the left speaker no longer function. Given it's given me a decade plus of great use, do you guys think it's time to put the old dog to pasture and move on? Or is this old headphone worth spending money on to fix?

Does any old head from this remember someone dissecting the headphones for @home repair?

    Audeze SINE Series

I did the aftermarket pads as well but not those ones. Anyone has this issue where one ear is a bit louder than the other? My headband's broken as well and need to be DIY'd. Very nice pair of on the go headphones, unfort been through the paces and need of RnR.

    Audio-Gd R-28 impressions thread

Hi lads wondering if anyone can advise me on something out of the blue. I don't have the thread's amp in question but the old pheonix. I'm wondering regarding operational temps, would it be prudent for longevity to place it on top of an audio gd dac that also generate some heat? Please see...

I have the audio gd pheonix balanced and it did match very well with the LCD2. I'm not sure with the specific ones he's talking about though.

    Audeze LCD-2 Impressions Thread

I just want to take a min to praise what kind of company Audeze is. I was one of the original adopters for the headphones. When the recall for the wood cracking came I wasn't aware. Months after I finally found out and sent it in to be serviced. They changed the angle of the connection. Not...

Reply to review by 'flaming_june' on item 'Grado Labs - GS2000e'

Connecting with the music is so important to the listener. I found that I gravitate to my Grado RS1 b/c of that. Looks like the above is on the menu now too.

Dood as soon as I saw the price before I threw up a lil in my mouth. I've ordered wires from ttvj before but I dont have the stomach to order more expensive overpriced items. I think going senheiser 414 yellow paddies like I did before might make sense for others who look for value above else.

Anyone have good tips on cleaning/deodouring the headphone? It's a 1st gen and have been used for so long, that it's too god damn stinky.

I've had multiple grado original pads fall apart after a few years. Unfortunately I've yet to find 3rd party pads that will make it more comfortable or sound better. Maybe other people have better answers.

    T1 or HD800 as compliment to LCD2's?

How can you go wrong with either?  I feel the t1 is the safer choice though.

    Sennheiser HD 700 Impressions Thread

There's a lot of good things with these HD700 that way out class any headphone that's worth just 100.  Or maybe you just got some really really good 100 dollar headphones.     Quote:   Those are dope but since I'm saving up for a WA5 they are out of my price range.  Cheers.

    Sennheiser HD 700 Impressions Thread

I've been doing my due diligence and I still haven't found a clear narration on what would be a good portable amp that can sooth out the HD700 like a tube amp would.  Would anyone be able to direct me to the right place or offer some suggestions?
