Headphones for: wide variety of use, comfort, stock performance

Quote: For the song I play to test the bass, it's a .m4a, 320 kbps. Audio quality is "very high (lossy)."   Headphones are still making full seal, I only bent them slightly.   Source is my laptop and my iPhone, both do the same thing.

Headphones for: wide variety of use, comfort, stock performance

Got everything setup and I'm pretty satisfied with the setup. But honestly, the sound quality sounds on the DT770's are almost identical to a set of Monoprice IEM's I got for free with the amp (thanks TekeRugburn! Great seller).   On a heavy bass song with bass booster on, and EQ set at 2...

I found a guy selling the Fiio e11 for ~$35 on the classifieds, would that be a better option over the e6?

Headphones for: wide variety of use, comfort, stock performance

Quote: Yeah, that makes sense. The set sounds good but not as good as my friend's M50's. I have to put the volume on max and it's still not loud enough, so definitely need an amp...   Any suggestion guys? Looking at the Fiio E6 right now, looks good. If I have an amp will I need a good...

Headphones for: wide variety of use, comfort, stock performance

The DT770's are only $175 from Amazon right now so I just placed the order for a set. I'll definitely keep your advice in mind, cel4145.   I'll think about getting an amp after I get the headphones. It's generally quiet where I am so I THINK I should be okay...   Thanks for the help...

Headphones for: wide variety of use, comfort, stock performance

I'm willing to stretch my budget to $200 if options are rocky below $150.    Yes, I do need a closed headset because it gets loud at work. And after some reading I assume open back earphones leak noise? that'll piss off everyone at work...   My main priority is that they are able to stay...

Headphones for: wide variety of use, comfort, stock performance

Hi again,   I put aside purchasing a set of headphones for a while, but now I am definitely sure to get some. I am looking for something that can accommodate my needs: -Comfort. These will be worn for 5hr+ periods at work, so I need to make sure I won't get any head pains.  -Quality. I...

Looking for headphones based on recent information (Budget: $200)

Oh, that's a good question. I was going to get a Sony or Sandisk MP3 player so I can listen to FLAC. Otherwise, it'll almost always be used on my computer.   I'm a bit fond of Sennheiser headphones, are their sub-$200 headphones not on par with other brands in that range?

Looking for headphones based on recent information (Budget: $200)

Hey guys, new guy here. I am in the market for headphones and I have done some research however most articles, reviews or data I find are kind of outdated in terms of technology, because in this day and age it seems to advance so fast that even reviews from 5 months ago become obsolete.  ...
