So I'm looking to upgrade my headphones (aren't we all), so instead of clogging the forums, I'll come over here. I'm looking for these qualities in a headphone, or at least, as many of the qualities as possible. Non SQ related: A full sized open/semi open headphone. These are...- FCO2013

Legitimacy of this site?
If they have a physical location (which it appears they do, clicking through the contact us section) more often than not you can trust them. Give them a call too, that can be reassuring.- FCO2013

Over Ear Headphones, pref. iphone friendly
Quote: IMO the only bose headphones worth buying are the QC15s, and they're pretty pricey, because of the Noise Cancelling. The klipsch headphones, from reading around seem to be...ehhhh. Also, the M50 does NOT have a detachable cable. Neither does the V6.- FCO2013

Can anyone help me? I'm looking to upgrade my portable set of cans (MDR ZX100s) to something a nicer, but still fairly cheap ($30 max, preferably less). Some Info: They need to be closed, don't care if it's supra aural (as long as the clamp force isn't too tight) or cirumaural, both are...- FCO2013

*** MonoPrice DJ Headphones 8323 Review ***
Can anyone tell me if they are good for classical? By my research these seem to be good for the other genres I listen to, but there isn't much info about how they sound with classical.- FCO2013

Upgrading! Good, cheap (30 USD or lower), portable, and mid-centric headphones!
Okay, cool, I will look into that. Thank you! I have slightly modded my ZX100s already but I have not tried this. Anyone else have suggestions? Anyone with first hand experience with the Monoprices care to give their opinion on how it would fare with my preferred genres? Or any other...- FCO2013

Quote: Thanks! Unfortunately, I can't go with either of those. The Panasonics look to big and bulky, and they don't fold. The folding characteristic is really a must for me. Can't go with the PortaPros either, over my budget and it's open, which is a not go. Very minimum is a...- FCO2013

Upgrading! Good, cheap (30 USD or lower), portable, and mid-centric headphones!
Hey all! So I've been thinking of upgrading my current portable set of cans to something nicer, but still not too expensive, so I'm looking for some suggestions. I currently use my Sony MDR ZX-100 headphones for my on the go, throw 'em in a bag type headphones. I like them because they...- FCO2013

Headphone Sightings 2
ZX-100, Hesh, Mixr, and I maybe an ATH-M50 (!!). The M50, if it was one, gets me excited, since you almost NEVER see those type of headphones round my parts.- FCO2013

Semi open vs open headphone for classical music
I would suggest the Superlux HD668B. I very much enjoy classical with them, I think they do classical well. A lot of people are going to disagree with me on this one, but hey. Cheap too, about $45, and you could a decent portable amp with the leftover cash. I felt that these cans really...- FCO2013

How Many Cans are Enough?!?
I think 3 or 4 would be enough for me. 2 for home, 1 or 2 for portable use. I have 3 right now. My stay-at-homes are my Superlux HD668Bs. My favorite headphone, the sound I get is so clean, especially once I hook it up to my E11. Considering what I used before, this was a HUGE jump...- FCO2013
