Official Sony WF-1000XM3 Thread - Noise Cancelling True Wireless Earphones

Tried that with no success, resetting them however did get the LED to stop flashing

I already have that enabled :p but the LEDs are still on. Might stick some electrical tape on top or something for now

That's unfortunate, I was planning to use these in public and in the office and that would be mildly annoying

Official Sony WF-1000XM3 Thread - Noise Cancelling True Wireless Earphones

Got my 1000XM3 yesterday and been playing around a bit. Compared the stock Sony tips, Final Type E and Spiral Dots and I like the Final tips the best of the three, tightens up the sounds whilst reigning in the bass which I find is generally too warm on Sony IEMs/headphones for my taste Also the...

    Campfire - Solaris

Bold move not putting solaris in their protective case, I guess the paint proved to be more resilient than the Andromedas which used to have chipping issues?

Nice and cheap, ordered one. Might get some foam to pad it out a bit to further protect against shocks

    Campfire - Solaris

Didn't realise JVC released a new spin fit, they're eye wateringly expensive though  paid $50 for 3x L and 3x ML without shipping. They're my prefer tips though :p What size pelican case would fit the Solaris best? My leather case is getting kind of scratched up

Empire Ears - Discussion & Impressions (Formerly EarWerkz)

Here's the Wraith marketing spiel if anyone cares :p if there's one for the Valkyrie I didn't pick it up though

Empire Ears - Discussion & Impressions (Formerly EarWerkz)

I tested them quite far apart so it's difficult to compare, but even compared to the U12 I found the U18 wasn't a massive step up in detail, and you could hear that it was tuned differently as the bass was noticeably more subdued than the U12. I'm afraid I can't give much detail, but the U18...

Gave my thoughts on the Valkyrie vs Legend X, but one additional comment would be that I found the highs on the Legend X slightly more forward than the Valkyrie Whilst the Legend X and Valkyrie are very much a V-shaped signature with fun, the Phantom is more neutral and referencing sounding. It...

Empire Ears - Discussion & Impressions (Formerly EarWerkz)

If I hadn't known the Valkyrie was new I would have thought it's been out for a while, very similar to the Legend X's sound signature with a nice bass but otherwise a bit narrower and a little less detailed mids/highs. It sits quite comfortably below for someone who wants the Legend X at a lower...

    CanJam London 2019 Impressions thread

I found that it sounded better than the Atlas, strong bass as you'd expect from a DD but with the rest not being ruined in the process. If you wanted a CA DD this would be the one pick in my opinion Exchange rate definitely doesn't help, although I imagine it'll work out to be equivalent to if...

    CanJam London 2019 Impressions thread

I took the opportunity to listen to the Atlas and Equinox at CA given I haven't listened to their DD IEMs, and the stand was always busy whilst I was there lol

Empire Ears - Discussion & Impressions (Formerly EarWerkz)

Tried it at Canjam, it's insanely detailed. I tried the Phantom, Valkyrie, Legend X, Noble Khan, 64 U12 and U18 and along with my own Solaris I'd have to say it's the most detailed listen I've had The Legend X is a more fun listen though, think I'll look to get that later if I ever replace my...
