Oops; it seems that I had both the X1 and X7 thread open at the same time. Though I would not be surprised if the feature is present on the X1, I certainly don't expect it to be. 

Given that this feature is present in both the X3 and X5, it would most likely be safe to assume its presence in the X7.

Why do people think that micro SD cards are so much more expensive than their SD brethren? If you compare cards of the same size and class from the same manufacturer, like the Sandisk Ultra 64GB micro and standard SD cards, then you'll see price differences of less than 10%, or, less than the...

A big appendage like that completely eliminates the portability and convenience that the X1 was designed to bring...

Do any of you really think that this dongle is really worth the hassle over a plain micro SD card?

It's not a terrible idea, but this won't appeal to enough users to make this a real feature implemented by any company that I can think of.
