The Bullet/Cable-Down IEM Database (140+ Update!)
Bullets are very niche it seems. Pitty. Personally i really am not a fan of the current shell shape zeitgeist and was happier a few years back with small L shapes and tear drops. Add the Astrotec Vesna (mind the bass tuck) and Kbear Little Q to your list.- Fat Larry

Good you have some spares. I have some too now (thanks Damz87) :) I have found some alternatives with since i wrote that. Namely the KZ Linglong and KBear Little Q. Both have slightly terminal issues though. The Linglongs graph very similar to the mh750 but insane driver flex and pressure that...- Fat Larry

The KBear Little Q has most of the Linglongs bass with significantly better clarity.- Fat Larry

Review by 'Fat Larry' on item 'KB EAR Little Q'
This isn't meant to be a full review, just a short note to warn people about the cable. I'll compare them to a couple of other cheap bullet sets i've been using recently along the way. I was using the Little Q as beater daily driver for a few months, exercise, work, movies, they had lots of...- Fat Larry

Anyone by chance know what the damper value on the back of the driver of the Little Q is? Mine had their cable go stiff which eventually broke the connections and i accidently melted the damper while i was resoldering them. Imagine this has happed to all Little Q's, which is a shame as they're...- Fat Larry

Is there anyway to know what version of the X-one you might have from the shell or package?- Fat Larry

They are good. Not as technically good as the Vesna though but i much prefer the sound signature because the sub bass tuck on the Vesna makes me very sad. Pressure build up and driver flex is atrocious though. Little Q is also worth trying. Their bass is a little loose and that'll probably put...- Fat Larry

KB EAR Audio impressions thread
Picked up the Little Q recently. Very happy. Sound wise they're competitive with the rest of the current field for the price and a good choice for on the go use which is what i bought them for. No driver flex or pressure issues, sit right inside my ears and isolation isn't bad either. I'd...- Fat Larry

It is the cable. Unless the IE600s have bad isolation? If the sound is being amplified into your ears by the iem rather than you're hearing the foot falls directly than it's the cable. As Jerry said, shirt clip is the solution. A J shaped cable would also help. Anything that will stop vibration...- Fat Larry

Well done for actually posting measurements. Quite refreshing to see when it comes to cables. Lets normalise it and hopefully we can banish the discussion of snake oil and delusion.- Fat Larry

Cheers. When i say technicalities I'm really referring to clarity and separation. The stuff that makes an iem sound expensive. Something the original Xelento wowed me with many years ago when bars were much lower.- Fat Larry
