Non-audiophile reactions to high-end headphones
Quote: Im 15 and I have 700$ in my secret safe :3, only issue is that my parents would notice that I got headphones the size of my fridge and would wonder how much they cost, honestly I wouldn't want to have to lie to my parents since the truth would come out one way or another eventually...- EzAlmoN

I would really recommend throwing down some extra money to get the M50's, theyre durable and have extremely good quality for the price. Besides I don't know your personal preferences mate, tell me what is important for you in a headphone and I will be glad to help out:)- EzAlmoN

Non-audiophile reactions to high-end headphones
Quote: Thats the problem I'm facing, I have the money for the HE500's and want to get them really bad however my parents won't let me spend my money on them, let alone amp/dac combo for 500$+. Luckily I already have a large amp/dac at home that will power any headphones sub1000$ without any...- EzAlmoN

Headphones for Classical Music -- Which are best and how much will I need to invest?
Quote: An Audio-Technica AD900 is amazing with classical music. I would go find a thread discussing these headphones if looking for an amp. They retail for around 200$ and are probably the best headphones for classical music. Look at some reviews of them, also they have a model AD900x...- EzAlmoN

Headphones for Classical Music -- Which are best and how much will I need to invest?
Quote: The HE400 are good with most genres (sorry for not being to specific but I am not an expert), but from what I've heard is that the HE500s are an amazing pair of headphones and are worth every single cent even though they are very pricey. I would personally invest in HE500s simply...- EzAlmoN

Quote: How do you compare the Grado RS-2i to the Senns' and the Beyers? Is the HE-500 really worth the extra 200$ and how well does it perform in rock and classical? Btw to take note the Senn's 650 are now on amazon.com for 413$. Wish me good luck in convincing my dad to allow me to get...- EzAlmoN

The Beyerdynamic DT880 Discussion thread
Quote: ^^ I see what you did there, anyway is there any performance difference between the Pro's and the Premiums? I am a noob in headphones still and would want to know if what I'm saying is correct, the HD650 has more and and a tiny bit larger soundstage and is better suited for rock...- EzAlmoN

I am looking for a sub 500$ headphones for rock and classical. I already have an amp and am mainly looking for comfort and precision in sound. It can be neutral but a bit of coloring in the bass, mid zone won't hurt. Current headphones - Beyer DT8880 600Ohm, Sennheiser HD650, HD600...- EzAlmoN

The Beyerdynamic DT880 Discussion thread
Quote: True the HD600 sounds more neutral than the HD650 as the HD650 has a bit darker and I guess you could say juicier sound. Simply because of the fact that sometimes I want to listen to techno music I would prefer a bit more bass in which case the HD650's have more bass than the...- EzAlmoN
