Recommended 2.1 system for listening to music under £200/$300 including amps etc. (Boston acoustics soundware xs experience would be appreciated)
That's great thanks, I was initially put off because of the huge subwoofer and the way they seem to be slammed by audiophiles everywhere but you seem to know your stuff so I might make the leap and buy them. I would like to know how well they perform at lower volumes (when i don't want to bother...- Etymoantick

Recommended 2.1 system for listening to music under £200/$300 including amps etc. (Boston acoustics soundware xs experience would be appreciated)
Hi all, I've spent a ridiculous amount of time searching for speakers to get for my computer and according to the forums, bookshelf speakers and studio monitors far exceed your standard desktop speakers in terms of quality. However, I have pretty limited space for placing the...- Etymoantick

cowon j3 or ipod touch 4th gen please help me !
I have the new ipod touch and if you really want sound quality then apple is definitely not the way to go. They still haven't really learnt from their mistakes and the sq has remained pretty much the same (maybe a tiny bit better) but nothing on the cowon.- Etymoantick

Are Monster turbines, pros or klipsch s4 best for uber bass?
Basically, i want a decent set of earphones that provide awesome bassiness (yes, that is a real word). The main comparison is the monster turbines and the klipsch s4's considering that the monster turbines are about $100 more in the UK or should I wait out and get the pros which are about...- Etymoantick

Etymotic HF5 or Shure SE210
Hmm, people have been telling me about the MC5 as a bassy etymotic but they just don't sell them in the UK, I'm considering the monster turbines but they're effectively $50 more in the uk (about £30 more than the etymotics at the cheapest offer), so would you still think it worth paying $50...- Etymoantick

Etymotic HF2 + Iphone 4?
That's great, thank you. I'm not going to bother getting the HF3 or the MC5 because they are going to be a load more expensive when they finally come out. I'm just getting the HF2 so I don't get mugged! Plus it's way more convenient to forward etc. using a button than taking it out- Etymoantick

Etymotic HF2 + Iphone 4?
Thanks for the quick reply (and useful information regarding the equalisers) but they don't sell the MC3 or the HF3 in the UK, the only ones i've seen are the ER-6i, HF2 and HF5 (and the er 4p which is outta my price range unlike the other three which all cos the same)- Etymoantick

Etymotic HF5 or Shure SE210
Hey, these are both the same price in the UK but it seems to me (from reading reviews etc.) that the etymotic is a far better choice so I was wondering why are they the same price? Having said that, are there any decent alternatives to the Etymotic HF5 for about the same price? (£70 max)...- Etymoantick

Etymotic HF2 + Iphone 4?
Hi guys, I just wanted to know if the HF2 works with the new iphone, because i've seen some very mixed responses online but I don't understand if they're complaining about the buttons not working or no sound coming through the earpiece. I don't really care if the buttons are a bit unreliable...- Etymoantick
